Finally noticed the schedule tweet button in TweetDeck this morning.  I have a knack of sending out tweets in batches, and since it annoys me when others tweet 20 in rapid succession it probably irritates others when I do the same.

Got me thinking though.  Would it be better to schedule retweets as well?  Not for the same reason, but to keep basically the same tweet from arriving in your followers’ timelines at the same time as all the other RTs of the same message?

My guess is that some of your followers also follow the same people you do.  So if you RT it’s probably something they’ve already seen or will shortly.  Maybe by delaying the retweet a bit your tweet will be more likely to be clicked since it’s not in line with potentially dozens of others in your followers’ timelines.

Just a thought…
