Yahoo announced that they will begin giving their email customers 1gb instead of the current 250mb starting in April.

Google announced that the Google Desktop Search will no longer be in beta testing. With the full release comes support for pdf files, multimedia, an API, and Korean and Chinese support.

I’ve gone through several CMS packages trying to find the perfect one. Sure, I understand perfect is relative and the only way to find one that was exactly what I’m after is to write my own. Fortunatly for me, I found Etomite under the CMS-Lite category at OpenSourceCMS.com.

NY Times changing to permanent links

The New York Times is releasing a redesigned site in April. Typically articles are posted on NYTimes.com for a week and then move in to a pay-per-view vault. $1,000 for reading the EULA

To prove that nobody read the end user license agreements when installing software, PC-Pitstop added a clause in to theirs promising “consideration” to the first person who emailed the company. Four months and 3,000 download later, someone finally did. He received a $1,000 check for his trouble.
