Canon released firmware updates this week for two dSLR cameras – The 20D / 20Da and the 350D.
20D / 20Da
Version 2.0.3 of the firmware fixes two problems with the 20D and the astrophotography specific version, the 20Da. The problems fixed are with the color temperature information not being transmitted correctly when using the Speedlite 430ex and also improves reliability with CompactFlash cards.
Version 1.0.3 of the firmware fixes 3 problems.
- An issue with the remote release where the user would be unable to take photographs
- Camera continually scrolling through images on playback
- Improved communication reliablity with CompactFlash cards
