Old shows find new life on net

Early next year, America Online is planning on offering free access to vitage television shows through a video-on-demand plan.

The new network, In2TV, will offer viewers free access to about 300 shows including “Welcome Back Kotter”, “Growing Pains”, and “Kung Fu”. The shows will include one to two minutes of advertisements during the broadcast, compared with 8 minutes typical with network broadcasts.
